Who Are We

In 1981, a group of doctors and individuals wanted to set up an organisation with the aim of providing social services to diabetics and establish a centre for dissemination of information on diabetes. This group of people founded Persatuan Diabetes Malaysia (“PDM”), which was registered as a social association with the Registrar of Societies on 16. June 1983. PDM is now known officially as Diabetes Malaysia. (currently known as DM : Diabetes Malaysia)
